Our factsheets cover all sorts of practical issues about how to get going as a storyteller and other thorny issues

Daniel Morden’s latest collection is a soupçon of his favourite fantastical tales, gathered and honed through his long experience of performance storytelling. These are tales to make you question yourself and to look over your shoulder in the dark.
As a storyteller, Daniel Morden is understated, calm and self-contained. He lets the story do the work, merely gently steering his audience through with a light touch on their collective elbow. His writing style has the same feel: straightforward, even sparse, with a good dollop of humour and plenty of shivers which should delight adults and teenagers alike.
Here, we move through the shadows and among the fey. Among others, we meet a charmed young man who goes to the Devil himself for answers, a party for the dead which disintegrates into riotous domestic squabbles, a wise woman who sees a world most of us cannot, two young women turned into beasts, with very differing reactions, and a boy who is utterly unable to feel fear.
Whether you are joining or rejoining our Society, we hope you will gain a number of positives from it, not least the chance to interact with fellow Tellers and enthusiasts but also opportunities to participate on collaborations beyond the initial brief of storytelling.
