DBS Clearance
The SfS can initiate a DBS clearance for members through third-party service uCheck
If you would like the SfS to initiate a DBS check for work you are doing, involving children or young people, please fill in the form below.
We will add your details to the DBS system as soon as possible (but please allow 5 working days) and then you will receive an email from uCheck with instructions for you to upload documents to establish your identity.
This is usually your passport, driving licence and a utility bill, not more than three months old with the same address as your driving licence.
Update Service
You have 28 days to request to be added to the Update Service (there is a small annual charge, but you don’t need to keep applying for new DBS certificates – you can supply a code to those who need to access your DBS certificate). We are not able to run DBS checks for people working with adults.

DBS Standard £37.20 plus £6.50 for digital ID check cost
DBS Enhanced £65.20 plus £6.50 for digital ID check
