Leanne has been sharing her love of stories with children and adults for over 35 years, initially in Australia but for the last 25 years in London as Leanne Storyteller. With a background in education and libraries, she enjoys delving into ancient and unfamiliar story sources as much as she does bringing them alive for new audiences.Whether you whisper or shout, rant or rave, laugh or even cry with the the characters, you will come away from your experience with a smile on your face and a little more story in your soul.
All of Leanne's sessions can be tailored to specific audiences, children, adults or mixed general audiences and can be as calm or interactive as desired. These are some of the experiences she offers:
- event, theme or curriculum topic based storytelling sessions or workshops
- sessions for nurseries and schools, neighbourhood and community groups, libraries, historical and environmental groups;
- school assemblies for Key Stage or whole small school topics
- storytelling sessions for children with follow-on activities for class or small groups;
- workshops for beginner storytelling - adults or children in a single or short series of sessions;
- private event storytelling by arrangement.
