You can make it as seasonal as you like - or not! That's the wonderful thing about storytelling. Last month it was Death, this month it will be Life - or anything else you fancy. Come and listen or come and tell!
Southampton Story Club is a friendly group of storytellers who meet once a month at The Art House to share a story or several.
As it is our last get-together for 2018, the theme will be "Out with the Old" - (there is no connection with the death-related stories of last month). It's unfortunate we can't sit round a fire in a smoky hovel to while away the winter with stories, but we must move with the times just a little.
The evening is very informal, so if you are curious just pop along, say 'hi' and we promise not to make you stand up and recite the Mabinogion, unless you can do it in fifteen minutes, that is.
The cafe will be open serving hot & cold drinks, beers, wines, ciders, snacks, suppers and cake.
Entry by magic hat donation - we suggest around £4/5 for this evening's event, or whatever you can afford. All donations go towards the running costs of The Art House.
-------- Food & refreshments: There will be a licensed bar at this event selling yummy organic and fair-trade drinks, as well as tea, coffee and soft drinks.
