SidMouth StoryNights for GrownUps 21st April welcomes the 3Troubadours
Three Troubadours from the heart of Europe will be visiting SidMouth StoryNights for GrownUps on April 21st. Its part of a storytelling tour across England and Scotland, and this will be their only visit to the West Country. They are professional storytellers from Norway, Finland and Holland, and will be presenting their show “Mobile Dreams.” It is a poetic, funny and warm storytelling show for adults about the everlasting human search for truth and connection, freedom and beauty. In a playful stream of English spiced with their native tongues the three performers behind “Mobile Dreams” tell a string of tales both mythical and personal all connected by the language of dreams.
Organiser Janet Dowling says “I try to get a variety of storytelling experiences for the Sidmouth audience. When I heard the 3Troubadours were looking to come to the UK, I jumped at the chance to bring them to Sidmouth. It will be a very different evening – showing, again, the variety of storytelling! They have had good reviews in Europe, and I’m excited to hear them. And of course, we have the open mike part of the evening where local storytellers can also tell a story- max of 10 mnutes. “
They will be at Kennaway House, Coburg Road, Sidmouth EX10 8NG, starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are £8 from Paragon Book shop on the High Street, or on the door.
