NSW: Around the World in Story

Saturday January 28, 2012 at 10:00AM

A University of Exeter extreme imagination event at Exeter Library for National Storytelling Week.

The World Stories project is a project run by Kids Out charity, funded by Esmee Fairbairn Foundation. The project is based on the idea that stories are really important. They can help us understand each other and learn about other cultures, and they can help us celebrate our own traditions and culture.

Most of all they are fun! Throughout the day, the stories from the World Stories project www.worldstories.org.uk will be read or told in English, and sometimes in the first language. The stories will be told by local authors and storytellers, and University of Exeter students and staff, celebrating the international cultures of the University and celebrating cultural diversity in the city. This event comes at the start of National Storytelling Week.
