Hastings Storytelling Festival seeks a Creative Director

The first HSF took place in November 2011 with ‘The Sea of Life’ themed performances. There were 2 tranches: public events for different ages in some of our interesting spaces around the town and; work that was specifically for young children that was performed mostly in children’s centres.

Hastings Storytelling Festival is seeking to commission a creative and suitably experienced person to build on our success and help us to create our November 2012 festival. It must be relevant to Hastings where we have a very active and creative community that celebrates its heritage but also welcomes innovation. Our aim is to secure ambitious, confident and inspirational artistic leadership of the festival that will inspire artists, locally and nationally, potentially gaining international attention with the quality of the work.

The commission will be on a self-employed basis with immediate start.
